The DMC Imaging team is made up of FRCR qualified Sub-Specialist Radiologists, each with complimentary specialisms that allow us to cover all organs, body areas and modalities. Each sub-specialist team is headed up by a Senior Radiologist that works closely with their respective team and in-house auditors to ensure high-quality reporting and optimum accuracy at all times. Our Radiologists have access to the latest technology and offer imaging departments the benefit of additional image reporting capacity with optional high-speed turnaround services.

Dr Simon Padley – Clinical Director: Audit and Clinical Governance

Dr Simon Padley specialises in thoracic and vascular imaging and intervention at both the Royal Brompton Hospital and the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Dr Padley leads the lung cancer imaging and intervention service and the cardiac CT service at both the Royal Brompton Hospital and the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Dr Gill Vivian – Clinical Lead 

Dr Gill Vivian has been a consultant in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology in the United Kingdom for over thirty years. Having completed her training at Great Ormond Street and Guys Hospital and passing her FRCR examination.

Dr Vivian has held clinical and research certification from the Administration of Radioactive Substances Advisory Committee (ARSAC) throughout her career. Working within the fields of DXA, general and specialised Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, SPECT/CT and PET/CT services. For the last seven years she has led the Molecular Imaging and Therapy service at Kings College Hospital NHSFT, London.

Dr Keshthra Satchithananda – Clinical Lead

Dr Satchithananda qualified in medicine from the University of London in 1994. Having completed basic surgical training and obtaining the FRCS (Eng), Dr Satchithananda began specialist registrar training in Radiology at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. On passing the FRCR examination, she developed a specialist interest in breast and musculoskeletal imaging. Dr Satchithananda was a consultant radiologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust for nine years but has, more recently, moved to King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation trust where she continues her special interest in both musculoskeletal and breast imaging, the latter as part of the NHS Breast Screening Programme (NHSBSP) and the Symptomatic Breast Service.

Dr Katherine Miszkiel – Clinical Lead

Dr Katherine Miszkiel graduated from Southampton University Medical School in 1998 and was awarded the MRCP in 1992. Dr Miszkiel trained in Radiology at University College and The Middlesex Hospitals in London and gained the FRCR qualification in 1995 before subspecialising in neuroradiology. She was appointed as a Consultant Neuroradiologist at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London in 1998 and holds an honorary contract at Moorfields Eye Hospital. Her special areas of imaging interest are multiple sclerosis (and other neuroinflammatory disorders) as well as orbital and neuro-ophthalmological diseases. Dr Miszkiel is a co-author of over 50 peer reviewed articles and several book chapters and has lectured at national and international conferences and courses.

Dr Praveen Peddu – Clinical Lead 

Dr Praveen Peddu has been a Consultant Radiologist at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since 2007 having trained in India (from where he obtained the MBBS qualification in 1996). Initially trained as a surgeon, Dr Peddu joined the training programme in the department of Radiology at King’s College Hospital and was awarded the FRCR qualification in 2004. Dr Peddu has a special interest in the imaging of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary diseases with particular expertise in the interpretation of radiological tests in complex hepatobiliary / pancreatic disorders and tertiary patients referred for paediatric and adult liver transplantation. He has been authored and co-authored a number of peer-reviewed publications and has lectured at national and international meetings. He is also a co-organiser of the King’s College Hospital FRCR IIB course.

Dr Maria Sellars MBChB FRCR – Clinical Lead 

Dr Maria Sellars is a consultant paediatric radiologist at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and was appointed in 2002. Dr Sellars qualified in 1991 and began in radiology at Grootte Schuur Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa. Dr Sellars joined the training programme in the department of radiology at King’s College Hospital and was awarded the FRCR in 2000. Dr Sellars has a special interest in the imaging of paediatric hepatobiliary diseases with particular expertise in the interpretation of radiological tests in complex hepatobiliary, pancreatic / paediatric surgical disorders, paediatric liver transplantation. She has also pioneered the use of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in the imaging of children with liver disease and following trauma.  Dr Sellars is the author and co-author of a number of peer-reviewed publications and has lectured at national and international meetings.  Dr Sellars is presently the Head of Training for the specialist registrars at King’s College Hospital.

PET CT & Nuc Med

Our extremely knowledgeable and well regarded Sub-Specialist PET CT, Nuclear and SPECT reporting team of Consultant Radiologists are able to offer both highly accurate primary reporting and decisive auditing services to our clients in the NHS and the private sector.

X-ray

We have a team of Sub-Specialist X-ray Radiology Consultants ready to support our clients at a moment’s notice. As with all our Sub-specialist teams our X-ray Radiologists handle high-volumes of plain film reporting under the guidance of a highly experienced ‘team-lead’.

Clinical Audits

Comprehensive audits evaluating accuracy, error rates, communication and clinical utility.

Augmenting and supporting existing revalidation requirements. As well as implement a forensic audit as part of any clinical incident investigations.
